The North Dakota Commission to Study Racial and Ethnic Bias in the Courts Final Report and Recommendations (June 2012.) Based on the information it has gathered and assessed, the commission shall make recommendations to the Chief Justice and Supreme Court regarding actions to be taken to ensure the North Dakota judicial system fulfills its institutional responsibility to provide the fair, equitable, and impartial resolution of disputes without regard to race, ethnicity, or minority status.
Interim Report of the N.D. Commission to Study Racial and Ethnic Bias in the Courts (2010.) This Interim Report discusses activities of the commission that are in progress, completed, and planned. The report also discusses some of the preliminary, broad-level data on potential areas of bias in North Dakota Courts.
